How to Install Farm IKEA Bathroom Sink

IKEA Bathroom Sink – The rural style sink or heatsink is usually characterized by a porcelain container that is exposed to the front view, as opposed to a sink-style drop-in. It frequently has flat sides, so that the overall shape resembles a square box with an open top. IKEA’s Domsjo sink has just such a shape, making it ideal for a country-style rustic bathroom. While the Domsjo is ideal to combine with IKEA’s own bathroom countertop systems, it can be easily incorporated into a variety of bathroom configurations.

Screw the bolts on the bottom corners of the side panels included in the kit Faktum cabinet. Drive the included screws through the brackets in the upper corners of the side panels. Mount the pins in the holes provided on the two sides of the lower part and then fit the lower part of the box, together with the two side pieces. Screw the metal supports, which have Domsjo, on the side pieces of the cabinet.

Adjust the cabinet in its place, wherever you want your sink. Attach it to any adjacent cabinets using the 1/4 inch screws provided. Use a vise to hold the edges of the cabinets together as you insert them into place. Additional screw L-shaped brackets to the rear corners of the cab for added stability and to secure the entire piece to the wall. Set your countertop pieces on each side of the newly made box, if desired to cover the areas on each side of the sink. Adjust the sink in place and use silicone sealant in the line between the sink and countertop.
